Costs
Most fees in the IASYM are set in US dollars at an affordable level
for US citizens. However, we offer substantial subsidies to those
living in different regions (zones) around the world, to take into
account different currencies and the real value of money in different
areas of the world.
1. Membership fees effective May 1, 2007
Personal and associate members (individuals) pay the following:
- Zone 1: UK, Eurozone and Europe - 25 GBP
- Zone 2: Northern America (USA, Canada) – 30 GBP
- Zone 3: Africa & South America – 10 GBP
- Zone 4: Russia, Asian subcontinent, Pakistan and Indonesia – 10 GBP
- Zone 5: Middle East & Pacific rim, Aus & NZ – 20 GBP
NB* Students pay only 50% of the above fee.
Affiliate members (organisations and institutions) pay the following:
- Zone 1: UK, Eurozone and Europe – 50 GBP
- Zone 2: Northern America (USA, Canada) – 60 GBP
- Zone 3: Africa & South America – 20 GBP
- Zone 4: Russia, Asian subcontinent, Pakistan and Indonesia – 20 GBP
- Zone 5: Middle East & Pacific rim, Aus & NZ – 40 GBP

2. Back Issues of the Journal of Youth and Theology
Back issues of the Journal can be purchased at 25% of your
membership fee as calculated above, per edition. There is a minimum
payment of US $ 2.50 per edition. This includes postage and packaging.
, University Libraries in the USA or Canada that wish to get a complete
set, and purchase back issues, will be charged US $ 25 per edition (25%
of the US $ 100 affiliate membership fee).
3. Conferences
Some of our conferences can be paid for through these options. In
particular, the International Conferences, including the next one in

4. Donations
We encourage donations to assist those less financially
able to participate in the Association and its activities. Donations
are tax deductible in the USA. Please request proof of donation if you
need it.

Refund policy: If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your membership, or with any service the Association offers, you will be able to obtain a refund of your fees. If any journals or other materials have been sent to you, this will be deducted from your fees, and the remainder refunded in a manner selected by the Association administrator.
Cheque or International Money Order
Cheques payable to "International Association for the study of Youth Ministry". The cheque or money order must be DRAWN ON A SOUTH AFRICAN, BRITISH, or UNITED STATES BANK in order for us to incur no fees on deposit. If you live outside of the USA, Britain or South Africa, please consider another method. If you must use this method, and will draw the cheque or money order on a bank outside of USA, Britain or South Africa, then please note that an additional US$ 2 needs to be added to the amount payable in order to cover costs.

PayPal
While we wait for our credit card processing capability to be reactivated, we have opened a PayPal payment option. This will be an option (using credit cards) from 45 countries (see a list at PayPal's site by clicking here). Unfortunately, no African countries (except South Africa) are included. If you have never used PayPal, it will take you about 10 minutes to set up a free account. You need do nothing with that account except use it to pay the IASYM by credit card. The money will be put into our PayPal account and we can then withdraw it to our UK bank account.
Payments can be made in Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, Yen or US Dollars.
